How we are all safely kept inside a warm body for 9 months and then ejected into a world full of challenges. The child sits unborn and attached to the wall of the womb. We cannot determine the sex of the child and we can assume that he or she is in the last trimester. The stark black and white figure defines a gender neutrality. One of my personal favorite pieces.
